Taking possession of an unfinished Lucy during late June, Chris has her trucked south to Rhode Island, her new home in a leased shed in Jamestown. That same week he meets Julie for the first time, a romance being born. Burning the candle at both ends by summer's wane, Chris's tenure aboard the Hedy Brenna is in jeopardy. By October his frenzied pace is alienating not only his crew, but the owner’s as well. Given an ultimatum to slow down, he proudly steps off ready for a change, albeit somewhat toasted. Initiating the finishing of the Lucy, that process is well underway by year's end.
