Chris’s British father David relocates the family back to the States, taking up residence on the outskirts of Boston. Returning via the Atlantic aboard the SS United States, at two years old, Chris distinctly remembers their departure from South Hampton, as well as a late night life boat drill bringing the entire ship’s company topside.
